Loren E. Chadima – Director/Executive Producer

Loren has directed over twenty critically acclaimed productions on both the East and West Coasts, where she has empowered many actors  -- novice to professional -- to give some of their greatest performances.  Loren’s training began at the age of five as a dancer, actor, and musician.  In college, she found her calling as a director.  Loren studied Shakespeare at Middlesex Polytechnic in London, England, and graduated with a Theatre Major (cum laude) from the University of San Diego, CA.  Theatre director Anne Bogart - named one of the four greatest theatre directors of the 20th century -- invited Loren to join her at the conservatory of the Trinity Repertory Company, a Tony Award-winning theatre in Providence, Rhode Island.  While in New England, Loren directed to rave reviews such plays such as a revival of Broadway's The Kathy and Mo Show, Dario Fo's We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay!, and the Humanifest success, Keely and Du.

In Los Angeles, Loren was selected for the prestigious American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women, where she directed and produced her first film, SURPRISE.  She has been an observing director on Boston Public, Providence, Strong Medicine, The Practice and General Hospital.

A directing member of Theatre Neo, Loren continues to direct theatre. Her production of JUGGLING SCROD, produced by the Theatre of Hope, was nominated for seven awards, including Best Director, for the Valley Theatre League’s Artistic Director Awards. Loren also is an acting coach for kids and is writing her first feature.
